Value D- Re-connect
3 Things I learned about this Value:
1) The only people in your life that are actually going to be there for the rest of your life is your family
2) Never take anyone for granted and be grateful for what you have, you may lose them one day, so spend as much time you can with them.
3) Your family is the most important thing in our lives, the most beautiful and precious group of people you can communicate each and every day with, never lose that communication.
3 Actions that I will make or change as a result of what I learned about this value:
1) Spend and make more time for my family, show how much they mean to me.
2) As I forgot to mention that my family has been split for awhile as in my cousins, my dad does not talk to his own brother, so I want to bring that relationship back into our lives, get them to bond.

Reflection:
What is family? Everywhere in the world family holds a special importance. Family is a group of people united by love not only by blood. Family is a group of people who love and try to help each other out no matter what. Family is the most important thing you can have in your life, they motivate you to do things you never thought you could ever do, and they are there for you when no one else is, they are always by your side. In a family you can talk about anything and not get judged, because they are your own, they are your best friends. Family is when you fight with each other but then right after you notice how much you miss talking to that person and how much you love them. In our society today we have all kinds of family, single moms or dads, step-parents, adopted kids, Ext… No matter what kind of family you have, as long as there is love in your family, it’s a perfect family. Some people are orphans and/or have never had anyone in their life but themselves, they can’t depend on anyone, and they have no one that loves them dearly. This is why we have to be grateful each and every day for what we have and what god has given us, especially If we have people that love us and would do anything for us, we could ask for nothing more. Families are people who support you even through all your mistakes and lead you on the better road for next time. Sometimes even families put aside their dreams and focus on yours not because they have to but because they want to, so everyone needs to be thankful for your families while they are still there beside you. Love is the best virtue that can be taught by family because it is a family. Without these people there’d be no one to keep you going when you fall down. But no matter what you consider the definition of family it always consists of two things, memories that we’ll never forget and infinite love. Families are people who love you unconditionally for who you really are. Family is about all the best memories that are going to last with you forever, it’s about sharing all your laughs, all your cries, all your worst moments, all your best moments and you will be loved for you who are. What family means to me? Trustworthy, caring, entertaining, beautiful, forgiving, accepting, friendship, reliable, people who you can show your real colors to and yet you’ll still be loved. You can share anything in the world with them and they’ll never tell anyone. You share all your best memories together, we may have our ups and downs but in the end were all there for each other. It’s like a chain, you’re all linked together, you learn to love every single one of them. That’s what family is to me, I don’t know where I’d be without my family, they mean everything to me, and I wouldn’t be who I am today without these special people in my life who I call my family. What I have learned about this value is that never take anything for granted and family is the most important and special thing you can ever have so be grateful for it. What I will change is to be more respecting and loving towards my family because I know that they only want the best for me.
